Australian scientists have identified new biomarkers that can be used to diagnose chronic fatigue syndrome in a screening test that they say is now ready for public use. According to researchers, the new test will screen for SNPS (single nucleotide polymorphisms). In up to 80 percent of cases, a glandular fever triggers the SNPS to develop chronic fatigue syndrome.
