Healthy Diet Key To Health Later In Life In Those With Diabetes While Pregnant!



Following a healthy diet that is high in fruit, vegetables and whole grains while low in salt and processed meat could reduce the risk of high blood pressure in later life for women who develop diabetes during pregnancy, according to the results of a new study.

Obesity and Gestational Diabetes Linked to Excessive Fetal Growth!


 
Babies of women who are both obese and develop gestational diabetes are five times as likely to be excessively large by 6 months of pregnancy, according to research published in Diabetes Care.
