Lower Breathing Problems Correlated With Less Pollution in Children!


 
A significant reduction in bronchitic symptoms in children both with and without asthma in Southern California appears to be associated with lower ambient air pollution levels, according to a study published in JAMA.

Olive Oil and Fish Oil May Protects Against Physical Effects Caused by Pollution!


 
A research team has found that that olive oil and fish oil may prevent muscle breakdown in response to air pollution. In addition, preliminary finding show that fish oil may protect against higher cholesterol levels caused by air pollution.

Fetal Exposures to PAH Linked to Health Effects!

Greenhouse Gas Emissions Rise 2% in 2013.






"After two years of decline, total U.S. greenhouse gas emissions released into the atmosphere because of human activity increased 2 percent in 2013 over the previous year. That surge was fueled, in large part, because of a growing economy, falling coal prices and a cold winter, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced Thursday in its annual greenhouse gas emissions inventory."
